I just received an email from Road Race Management News. This is the monthly newsletter from RRM, Inc., the company owned by Phil Stewart, RD of the Cherry Blossom 10 Miler and other events. Its lead topic is the mud-slinging and legal actions between the USATF board, Vin Lananna, and former USATF Board Chair Steve Miller. RRM News references this newspaper article: San Diego Times Report on Turmoil at USATF, Let'sRun.com string: Turmoil at USATF, and a Facebook discussion: more than 60 posts on Facebook .
Does anyone have any inside info they can discuss? A couple of people in the discussions seem to feel that this ongoing dispute could bring about the demise of USATF, or at least the volunteer portion of its management.
I only know what is in these articles. It seems serious.
