Stating a course is certified that's not!

What should be done if a race director places a certification number on their race application or web site for a course that has not been certified?

First the FS should notifiy the people that this should be removed from their application or web site. If this is not done then I as Chair will get involved by contacting the parties involved.

Does anyone else have any ideas on this subject?
