I recall this as being the fastest, or at least most downhill, marathon ever certified in the U.S. I think it was cooked up to produce a max number of Olympic Trials qualifiers.

It's no longer active, but does anyone have drop info and/or a map?

Jim,

Check out this map from MN#75.

The course (CA95053PR) was created by Bob Letson for the purpose of getting people qualified for the Olympic Trials. As far as I know the race had very few runners, and I don't know whether anyone ever qualified on it.
