Well, it's finally happened. Time to throw out our old standard : Foot Fault

If you've been using the "Survey Foot", your courses are long. You may want to consider remeasuring all of them. The article concludes "...the United States is 28.3 feet wider when measured using the international foot instead of the survey foot."
