Validation of the men's and women's marathon trials is upcoming. Before they can be validated they need to be certified.
Does anyone know of the present status of the courses?

The NY course is bieng designed by David Katz and will be measured soon. Sometime this summer, Nevile Wood will do the Pre-validation with me giving assistance. We are not to have a large group of measurers this year for either validations.
Ray Nelson has begun the laying out of the Boston course. It will be validated this summer with Jane Parks as the lead person and assisted by Jim Gerweck.

The design and measurement of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials - Women's Marathon, in Boston Massachusetts is complete. Ray Nelson has also completed the first draft of the course map. Steve Vaitones and Justin Kuo assisted on the measurements. More details to follow. Thank you. -- Justin
