Missing the London Marathon

Tom Riegel and I were scheduled to do measurements at the London marathon, but the volcano erupted, so we'll watch it on the web. The measurement work is under control. No problem there.

The elite field was more fortunate. See below.

Pete, I'm surprised Dave Bedford didn't dip into his "contingency fund" and charter a plane to bring the 2 of you over. I'm going to view today's times as suspect w/o you 2 vouching for the distance.
