Measuring in the Late Fall

Measured a 5 km course yesterday. Measuring isn't so unusual, but measuring with temperatures in the low 60's is unheard of in early December. We don't get 60 degree weather in Upstate NY after Thanksgiving. It was very enjoyable day to be measuring.

I had a similar day on Ocracoke Island, NC. 68F & sunny yesterday. Perfect day for pulling a cal course with steel tape and measuring a half. Very off weather for December on the Outer Banks but enjoyable

Same story here. I especially like it when you are pulling a steel tape and the temperature is a steady 68 degrees F-- avoid the brain strain of temperature correction!
