To All,
I did not welcome Kevin's proposed amendment, but I intend to put that in a separate mental box and cooperate with him as he strives to revive Measurement News. I've sent him an article and I hope others will do the same.

Dear USATF/RRTC Committee Members,
Wanted to take a minute to introduce myself to those of who might not already now, I am the new editor of Measurement News (MN). MN is the proud quarterly publication of the USATF/RRTC. I will be taking over the role of editor from our newest Vice Chair, Jim Gerweck, and before him, our former Chairman, Pete Riegel. Therefore, I have some rather large shoes to fill.
More importantly, would like to welcome each of you to contribute any articles and photos of interest. Granted, we are generally a technically minded folk, yet we all share a deep love of the sport we serve. Please consider sending in all topics concerning road course measurement, finish line timing & results processing, road & track records, and notable achievements of the many good people connected to RRTC activities. Your contributions, suggestions, and ideas will always be welcomed.
For committee members who would like to regularly contribute articles, write a feature column, or provide brief updates to your position’s scope and accomplishments and developments, let’s talk about what you would like to do. For those of you who can find the time to write a regular column, I would like to have a head shot photo available. Please send in your personal photo with any contribution to publish.
Measurement News belongs to all of us as an important communication tool to express ideas, announce activities, and be a consistent source of meaningful discourse. Please help me to carry on this rich tradition that is Measurement News.
Sincerely,
Kevin P. Lucas
