I have found times when reviewing a course application the measurer doesn't list the Calibration course Certification number. It is necessary for all of us to use a valid Calibration Course. Final Signatories please check for this on the application. Also, please verify that it hasn't expired.

Why would Karl send a copy of a cal course to Jim? Isn't Karl a Final Signatory? FS's don't have to send in anything except complete, finished certificates, as far as I know.

Anybody who sends a course application to a certifier to be reviewed is supposed to send a copy of the cal course cert. In the case of the measurer being long known to the certifier this could be relaxed, I suppose.
I agree with Pete. If we know the measurer's work, then we can relax the policy about them sending a copy of the Cal Course Certificate(just send the number). Otherwise, we should get a copy of the Certificate.

Jane is helping me update out data base by getting the distance of each cal course placed in the data base. This should help when checking the Cal course distance as opposed to opening the map.
