I was ask this question and I feel it's probably a concern of some.

There is no exact answer as there are several factors, which I will explain. The first concern is that the RRTC maintain a check and balance system, which means certain steps must be followed.

This is the entire process.
1. A measurer completes their paper work and sends it to a Regional Certifier for review.
2. If all is correct, then the Regional Certifier approves the course and issues a Certificate.
The Regional Certifier then sends 2 copies off to a Vice Chair.
3. The Vice Chair reviews the Certificate a map and if all is correct a copy is sent to the Registrar.
4. The Registrarthen checks for errors and if all is correct, then it will get posted online in a matter of a day.

As one can see, the time can vary. However, if all goes well the process usually should take 2 to 3 weeks. There was a time that USATF would only allow submissions on a monthly basis. Now, the Registrar can make submissions on a daily basis.

If a race is concerned about getting their race Certiifcate online, then I suggest to have their event measured well in advance of the race date.

I hope this helps understand the process.
