I'm not seeing it, do I need to download a new version to see those elevations? I've caught just a few, one bridge and the top of Lincoln Memorial but most bridges are still saying zero. Appreciate any help on this.
I'm running version 7.1.2.2041 on my Mac, but I'm not sure the version number would have anything to do with what elevations it shows. I looked at downtown Washington and most of the bridges and just about all of the buildings seem to show their true elevations for me.
I've downloaded a newer version. What I am seeing now looks like someone is perhaps experimenting with a fix to this elevation glitch. I see "patches" on tops of buildings and some patches on bridges, such that if you point right at the patch it gives you the height of that structure. But some of the bridges still have "gaps" where the elevation reads zero. I may not have done all the right steps for getting GE updated-- would like to learn what to try and I'm wondering what others see on this question?
Same thing for me Bob. I'm guessing the highlighting of the building or bridge is their way of telling you the elevation they show you is of the structure, not the ground.
