Should we require that a person be a measurer (appears on USATF or AIMS list) to post on the measurement forum?

I'm not sure how to enforce it but I think we should require a person to use their real name.
On the second question, I would feel rather excluded since I don't measure anymore, but do, from time to time, post.

Mark, you can do it I believe. It is a good ides to have their name and that's it.
I don't believe anonymous posts would serve measurement or the BB
Are you aware of anyone trying to post with a false name? I don't know why someone would want to remain anonymous on this forum, but I am certainly in favour of people using their real name. I am opposed to restricting forum members to active measurers.
I have seen some post made from a person that were not even related to a specific topic. Why one would do this it is beyond me.

Paul there are people who don't use a name for display but just a handle, or nickname. And there is no name listed in their profile.
I personally don't think it's beneficial to the discussion to have people post anonymously. I would suggest that we require either your real name be your display name, or you include your real name in your profile. I think we should also require that a valid email address be included in your profile.

Well, I don't know the Guido Brothers, but I have no problem with them posting.
As far as anonymous posters, sometimes that may be in the best interest of the topic. If it is an inappropriate comment, it can be removed by the Admin.
