I have been measuring in Austin, Tx for around 15 years. I have always charged $150 for a 5K, $250 for a 10K, $500 for a half marathon, etc. Just wondering if this is in line with others around the country?

I don't know what others charge John, but your fees seem in line. I charge $30 per kilometer and am considering an increase.
That's pretty much what I charge as well. Of course, if the course is far away or looks like a pain in the butt (lots of adjustments, traffic, etc) I'll charge more.
I should have looked at this posting before I quoted for a 5K/15K point-to-point. I figure it takes me 3hrs to do a 5K including the paperwork if everythiing goes correctly. So, I guesstimated a total of 9hrs and small change and quoted the RD $150, not including the course cert. fee to the state certifier.
Perhaps I should also ask for a comp entry.
