Re: Does the online system use rounding functions?

I've noticed tiny discrepancies between my course calculations and the system's calculations, which are owing to rounding. For example, my spreadsheets round up my working constant while the system uses a fraction at least to the 5th decimal point. I'd like to adjust my spreadsheets to match the calculations of the system. Does anyone know if the system uses any kind of rounding function? If so, to which decimal point? Does it round down or up? etc.

I think it's unlikely the system is doing any explicit rounding. Have you tried modifying your spreadsheet to remove any explicit rounding you are doing to see if you then get the same answers?
