If the path of a course is confined by temporary poles and flags (instead of permanent objects or curbs)for a "Day of Race Only" certification, where the position of said poles and flags is arbitrary and the course is measured after the poles and flags have been laid out in the desired configuration, how accurately should the position of the poles and flags be defined for the map? Is it acceptable to just report: "the course is confined by the temporary poles and flags" instead of accurately defining their position?
