As promised, here are the results from the survey I have been hosting for the last few months. Over 250 responses, from all across the country. Percentages have been rounded to nearest whole number.
Two questions asked if runners knew what certification was. In one, 6 respondents said "No", in the other, 31 said "No".
The most surprising result was that 40% of respondents said they wouldn't run a race whose course was not certified.
