A Measurement Plan

On a validation of this multi-loop course the job can be done by riding the entire 42.2 km, including all four loops, or one can considerably shorten the riding by proceeding as follows, for this specific course:

1) Ride from the 5 km mark around the repeated loop, recording counts at every 5 km mark enroute until the 5 km mark is once again reached. This will define the length of the repeated loop.

2) Ride from the start, take a count at the finish, and proceed to the 5 km mark along the route of the first 5 km.

If the course is perfect, the measuring will encompass 6 miles plus 5 km, or 14.6 km.

Arithmetical legerdemain with a spreadsheet program will produce an accurate depiction of the entire route, including all 5 km splits.

More splits can certainly be included if desired.
