Advent of Road Races in Nigeria

Road race is gradually gaining its ground in Nigeria. Based on this fact, we don't have the technical know-how to manage a road that will match international standard. Presently the only road race on IAAF calendar is the Obudu Mountain Race. There are pockets of road race here and there but, the standards are poor. I organised a kid marathon on December 18th last year (coalcitykidsmarathon.webs.com). The objective is to develop the race from the grassroot level. We are soliciting for any help or assistance in developing road race. Assistance in any form is welcomed. Thanks.
