There were long discussions on many topics, but here is a short summary of what happened.

1.The RRTC and the Association Chair have established a good working relationship. The RRTC will conduct a workshop on measuring at the Association Summer meeting. Duane Russell will be the contact.

2.Mark Neal will replace Mike Wickiser as Washington Regional Certifier effective Dec. 15th, 2009. His work will be evaluated by Mike Wickiser as this is a unique situation.

3.A list of things that need to be addressed on the USATF web site will be sent ASP.

4.Jim Gerweck has sent info to our Certifiers who in turn will forward this to the mesasurer’s in their area.

5.RRTC Policy on Use of Electronic Counters is as follows: The Electronic Counter is approved for measuring courses for certification only by those that presently use this device.
a.It is not be used for measurement of AIMS/IAAF courses.
b.It is not be used for measurement for any big-city marathons, Olympic Trials, Olympic Marathons or National Championship Races.
c.It may not be used for Validation measurements.

6.RRTC Policy on Use of Electronic Submissions is not established at this point in time. However, Duane will work with Ann on Electronic submissions.
7. Insurance through USATF(this is for Sanctioned or Non-Sanctioned events)will become reality in a short time for us as measurers.
a.We will be called LDR Road Course Certifiers
b.There will be three Levels: Association, National and Master



8.Codes for Courses needed some adjustment(has been done).

9.The registrar will find a backup server for our information on the web.
