I've just followed up on this idea by modifying the version currently posted at http://www.usatf.org/events/co...anual/appendix-f.asp by "typewriter enabling" the entire packet of app forms. This means that you can "type" anywhere on any of the forms in the packet using the Typewriter tool in Adobe Reader 7.0 or greater, and you can save the results using just Adobe Reader (as opposed to full Acrobat). The versions you've currently produced have form fields (which my typewriter-enabled versions don't) but if you have only Adobe Reader (rather than full Acrobat or similar software), the filled-out forms can only be printed--they can't be saved electronically. I noticed also that your RoadCourseApplication.pdf is a huge file--nearly three quarters of a megabyte. Do you have any idea why it's so big?

We can combine these ideas by producing versions with form fields that allow saving. But, for now, my typewriter enabled versions provide most of the functionality.

Nice work on this, gentlemen. I will give it a try. FYI, you can save a PDF form electronically by using the free utility "Primo PDF". Once installed, click "Print", select "Primo PDF" from the printer options, and create a new PDF will all your typed-in data.
