Yes, rounding is the issue. That could be an argument for using metric calibration courses, but I didn't make my calibration course metric.

But, when I change the length to 300 meters, it still is not exactly 5000 meters. Using even click figures causes rounding to a partial click for the average. This causes the final length to be slightly off. Knowing the distance it is off, though, will allow you to add the appropriate length to make it a proper course length.
