I think to get anything close to an accurate measurement on a course like this you would need to measure it once going down and once going up.

But this is all academic. There's no way they would shut that road down for several hours for a race. It's the only way across the mountains and quite busy.

Even if you managed to put on the race, I don't think it would "top" this one.
