Mike,
I went out to the Kalkhoff web pages. That is a very nice ride. I like that the motor takes advantage of the gearing. My trek's motor is in the rear hub and missing any advantage provided by the gearing. I'll try to get some photo's of my rig and post them.

I've already measured four courses with the bike this spring. It works very well, especially eliminating any wobble when first starting off.

The only negative I found so far is the price for these things.
