As I read through today's edition of The Wall Street Journal, I came across an article about the Boston Marathon on page B10. Low and behold, Pete Riegel was quoted regarding allowable elevation changes in a certified course.

I've scanned the article if anyone wants to me to e-mail them a copy (I don't see a way to post images here). Pete, if you want the actual paper version and didn't get a chance to pick it up, let me know and I'll mail it to you.

That's a pretty big deal being quoted like that in the WSJ.
