There are two local courses, AL86004JD and AL88004JD, that I renewed after their original ten-year life. Both have now passed the twenty-year final limit and should no longer be certified. But AL88004JD is shown as active and record eligible on the RRTC map search site. And the 86 courses is shown as record eligible but not active. Shouldn’t both be inactive and not record eligible?

The 86 course has expired. The coding used for this was X97, which implies it expired, but was renewed in 1997 for 10 years. I don't know why the site says record eligible as that makes no sense since it's expired. No matter what coding I use it will still say record eligible.

As for the 88 course the coding used is A99, which implies it's active and was renewed in 1999. Hence it will expire Dec. 31, 2009.

I think the USATF supercomputer just uses drop/sep information to determine eligibility. It shouldn't be a big deal to modify its criteria to include only active courses.
