Up til now I've been quite fortunate to have the type of job that lets me come home early every day and take care of my Registrar duties before dinner, and sometimes check e-mail from work. This has meant that any questions or course requests are handled the same day, if not immediately if you catch me at the keyboard. Not patting myself on the back, that's just how it is.

Or rather, was.

The Mrs. is going on disability, and that means I'll have to get a job with big pay and benefits. Something very much like long-haul truck driving.

This means I won't be able to get to your requests as quickly as before. I will attempt to do the job on weekends or hometime. Huge loads of data may not go in on time, but should still get done by the 2-month standard established by previous Registrars. If the job becomes too onerous, we'll figure out something else. But for now, just know that I'm probably not here to receive your letter or e-mail, and I'll get to it when I see it.

Wish me luck, it's a big change.

Good Luck, Stu. Sorry for your (and the Mrs.') situation change.

But look at the bright side - you can visit measurers all over the country, if you want!

The first casualty will be this month's upload.

The new server won't be ready until after I leave, so I'll do the upload when I come home next weekend.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Bonnie has agreed to take on my Registrar duties, on a temporary basis at least. It may become permanent pending RRTC approval.

Training will commence soon.
