Last December our team participated in the Nike Team Nationals in Portland. For timing they had an up-link to GPS and fans saw instantaneous info on the Jumbo-Tron at each kilometer showing individual status and "running" team points. The system apparently cost a million buck. I am looking to replicate the system with available technology (wireless laptops, projectors, chips?, etc) at a MINIMAL price for our dual cross country meets! Possible? What do you think.......
